Falling Whistles at UT this Thursday

Two things you need to know about and be a part of:
Sean Carasso of Falling Whistles speak at the Will Hogg building this Thursday, April 8, at 7pm. He will engage in conversation, questions, and education about the mission and movement of Falling Whistles.
Falling Whistles rally at Tyler’s on the drag this Friday, April 9, 11am-5pm. There will be music, whistles for sale, and more.
Falling Whistles is a campaign for peace in Congo.
When Sean Carasso met 5 boys who told him the story of the whistleblowers—boys too small to carry guns sent to the frontlines of war armed with only a whistle—he was determined to take action.
Through anger and tears, he wrote a journal entry called Falling Whistles and sent it out to friends and family who forwarded it on with the same urgency in which it was written.
We now are asking you to make their weapon your voice and be a whistleblower for peace.
This small story has evolved into a growing coalition for peace in Congo.
Come join us at these events and become a whistleblower for peace. Learn about Falling Whistles, the conflict in DRC, meet fellow whistleblowers, and grow the coalition.
